Verse 17

The Yoga of Renunciation

When one's intelligence, mind, faith and refuge are all fixed in the Supreme, then one becomes fully cleansed of misgivings through complete knowledge and thus proceeds straight on the path of liberation.

Context & Meaning

Those whose intellect, heart, and devotion are all absorbed in the Supreme — purified of all impurities by knowledge — go to the state of no-return. This is moksha: liberation from the cycle of rebirth.
